Jovoni’s knowledge of long snapping and the way he trains has helped me tremendously throughout my football career. "I have known Jovoni Borbon since he was in 3rd grade. I was his PE teacher in middle school and then he played football for me for 4 years at Buena High school. During his time as a very strong and gifted player, he was accountable, committed and was a team player. He was an incredibly hard worker on and off the field and all around a great Student-Athlete. I have observed Jovoni as someone who other players looked up to and admired as a 4-year varsity captain of the team. He was willing to help others on/off the field and he bought into being a team player. I admire him for his values and his ability to be a great leader for his peers. He was actively involved in other sports and activities, and he has done volunteer work in the community.
During his college football years, he showed heart, dedication, a tough mindset, accountability, determination and resilience.
Jovoni is loved by many and had a big positive impact on me and every other person he has met over the years. He is that guy who gives back to the community, makes time to be the keynote speaker at high school sports awards, works with the youth and still put his family first among all.
I will end with this; I love Jovoni like my own son, I trust in him completely and I am truly proud of the young man he has become."
